Australia 2x Murwillumbah Fire Postcards

Murwillumbah: Two cards featuring the Murwillumbah fire which occurred on 15th September 1907 ('Red Sunday'), one showing the view from Church Hill with the ruins of the Post Office and Bank (used from Byron Bay to Sydney), the other showing spectators in the street after the fire.

The fire began in Edward Dainer's bakehouse and quickly spread, eventually over 60 premises were destroyed.

The cards are both scarce.
