Kurri Kurri: Two cards published by T. Dimmock, Maitland (1905) featuring the Stanford Merthyr Colliery disaster of October 1905, one showing the explosion, and the other the fire.

The explosion fortunately occurred when no miners were underground, however six mining officials were killed, and there were nine other serious injuries.

Both are fine and addressed to Tenterfield, sent under cover.
