(West New Britain Province) (Post Office Opening Day) and Registration label "R/EWASSE/NO. 4/T.P. & N.G.(Very early number) on 30c Murex Ramosus on registered cover to Henley Beach S.A. with backstamps "EWASSE", "RABAUL", "ADELAIDE" and "HENLEY BEACH". Postmarker EW-1 was in use from the opening of the Post Office (formerly a Patrol Post) on 23 May 1969 until late 1978 or early 1979.
