| "MENYAMYA/29MR83/P.N.G." (Morobe Province)(Post Office Opening Day)(Stolen Postmarker) and Registration label "R/181347" and red "R" in circle on 40t Pots and 40t Antipathes on registered Air Mail cover to Grange SA. with backstamps "MENYAMYA", "LAE", "ADELAIDE" and "HENLEY BEACH". Postmarker MY-1 is believed to have been in use on the opening day of this office, on 8 July 1982 and was in use until stolen from the Post Office counter at 10:30am on 2 March 1987 and not recovered. The Post Master in a note included an "Opening Day" cover states the office opened on 9 August (sic) (July) 1982 but PPS Cover Service covers from Menyamya are dated 8 July 1982.
