Postmarker KN-3 (Modified) was placed in service on 27 March 1962. At a later date KN-3 was modified with the "T" and "&" being removed. In this version, the "8" in the date wheels is smaller and it could be that a nylon wheel was fitted with the original steel wheels being retained for the others.
