PARKES" all addressed to Glandore South Australia and affixed with 6c Lachlan Macquarie stamp and tab (2 Covers) or 6c Duigan Brothers stamp and tab cancelled "PARKES/1230P 10FE71". The APOLLO 14 command module Kitty Hawk splashed down in the South Pacific Ocean on February 9, 1971 at 21:05 [UTC], approximately 760 nautical miles (1,410 km) south of American Samoa.
